Navigating the Schedule Tab
Green Book - On the top-left of the Schedule tab you will see a Green Book icon as seen below. Selecting this icon will allow coaches to toggle on/off specific tournaments they are at. Coaches will only see games on their schedule and receive notifications for tournaments that are toggled 'on'.
Search Games - This search field allows you to search by Recruit name, team name, or location. After performing a search, the number of matching results will be listed below the search box, and the matching results will be highlighted in yellow.
Matching Games - When no search is performed, this area lists how many games in total are on your schedule for the given date. These games will include games of teams you are following, as well as games of recruits that have been assigned to tourney teams at a tournament you are attending.
When a search is performed in the Search Games box, the matching games area will display only games that match your search.
Starred Games - To the right of the matching games area is a sliding button you can toggle on or off to display all games (when toggled off) or to display only starred games (when toggled on).
In the example below, you can see that no search has been performed, so there are 48 total games available for April 16th. You may also notice that this schedule has 6 games scheduled for 8:00am. This is where Starred Games can be used to prioritize the most important games out of the 6 available at 8:00am.
Using Starred Games
The Starred Games feature can best be used to prioritize multiple games taking place at the same time. Your most important, "can't miss" games should be starred, while the rest of the games on your schedule should remain un-starred. The Starred Only slider at the top of the Schedule tab can be used to filter your schedule down to only your most important, starred games.
Starring Games - Games within your current schedule can be starred by clicking the star icon just below the game. You can also star new games that aren't currently in your schedule by navigating to the tourney tab, and following the steps in this article. Lastly, games can be starred from the Schedule tab in FastRecruit Web, following these steps.
The example below shows Starred Games in use. After toggling the Starred Games button to "on" position, the 6 games previously listed for 8:00am have been reduced down to 2 games at 8:00am. These represent the two most important games at that time slot that cannot be missed. Toggling the Starred Games button back to the "off" position would reveal the entire schedule, including both starred and un-starred games.
Viewing Search Results
As mentioned above, the Search Games field allows you to search by Recruit name, team name, or location. After performing a search, the number of matching results will be listed below the search box, and the matching results will be highlighted in yellow. This can be a good way to search for a team or Recruit in your schedule to see their upcoming games for the day, or to Star each game to add to your priority list.
